some quick things about me:
~I love how this site's abbreviation 'DA' can also refer to Harry Potter.
~I like Narwhals. A lot. And way before weebl did.
~I support the pirate side of the ninjas/pirates debate.
~I draw sometimes. Properly. But not enough.
~I listen to music.
~Huge love for Anime, but everyone says that on here so, more specifically, Studio Ghibli.
~I write music also. I'll be impressed if you can find me on myspace though.
~And poetry. Poetry too. And SOMETIMES it's not depressing. Sometimes.
I've meant to have got an account here since i was about 13 but hey, now i can appear good at stuff more convincingly. x]

Current Residence: UK
Favourite genre of music: chilled rock. often with pianos or acoustic guitar. atm anyway. I change frequently.
Favourite style of art: anything that someone's put their heart into. The outcome doesn't really matter.
Operating System: Windows, but if I had money, I would have a Mac.
MP3 player of choice: They're all broken atm, i keep meaning to get an iPod ._. CreativeZen V is my current.
Favourite cartoon character: does anime count? Ashitaka all the way ^_____^

Just came across this new contest [Water Drops Contest hosted by FireAndWaterPhotos (https://www.deviantart.com/fireandwaterphotos)] really pretty excited about this one but realising i don't really have any experience on photographing water droplets at all ever - any ideas? 0_o anyway, if any of you guys fancy trying for this too, go for it. i fully recommend the group as well, it's really well organised and great for getting your work into if you're into photography.

was really cool. got a ton of pictures and really pleased with one or two ^_^ hope you lot like them too! i've just put the better ones up.
for those of you who don't know, tramlines is a FREE long weekend music festival held in sheffield every year, the acts range from big names like pixie lott and the futureheads to bands that formed two weeks ago, from blues to club to hard rock, acoustic, experimental, electronic, 60s classics.. anything. there was about 70 venues this year? anything from huge main stages to tiny pubs and churches. it's amazing and if you live anywhere in the north of england it really is the place to be mid july.
